JEFFREY G. BLACKWELL was born in Decatur, Alabama, on March 10, 1970. Mr. Blackwell earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of South Alabama in 1992. In 1995, Mr. Blackwell received his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Blackwell received the Ticor National Title Insurance Award and the Corpus Juris Secundum Award in 1992-1993. Mr. Blackwell served on the Journal of the Legal Profession from 1993 to 1995 as Junior and Senior Editor, respectively.

Mr. Blackwell was admitted to the Bar of the State of Alabama in 1995 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. Mr. Blackwell practices in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury and fraud litigation. He is responsible for the appellate practice on behalf of the law firm. Mr. Blackwell is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is a graduate of the National College of Advocacy.
